General Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 20 August 2026

1. Provider and Scope

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all contracts concluded via beautymasters.thinkific.com between:

BeautyMasters GmbH
Maximilianstrasse 36, 80539 Munich, Germany
Amtsgericht München, HRB 302666
Managing Director: Frederic Westerberg
Telephone: +49 89 55293446 · Email: [email protected]

("we", "us") and you as the purchaser of our online courses and digital learning materials ("Materials").

1.2 A consumer is any natural person entering into the contract for purposes predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (§13 BGB). An entrepreneur is any natural or legal person acting in the exercise of their trade, business or profession (§14 BGB). Where a provision applies only to consumers or only to entrepreneurs, this is stated expressly.

1.3 These Terms apply exclusively. Any conflicting or supplementary terms of yours do not become part of the contract unless we have expressly agreed to them in writing.

1.4 These Terms cover online and digital courses only. In-person courses (cadaver dissection, live anatomy, hands-on training) are booked separately and are subject to their own terms. If in-person courses are or will be bookable through this site, separate participation terms are required — they involve attendance dates, cancellation and rebooking, safety and qualification requirements, and liability questions that these Terms do not address.

2. Target Audience

2.1 Our Materials are directed at qualified physicians, other qualified healthcare professionals, trainees in those fields, and industry representatives. By purchasing, you confirm that you belong to one of these groups.

2.2 The Materials are educational in nature. They do not constitute medical advice and do not replace your own professional judgement, your own examination of a patient, or your obligations under applicable professional and medical law. You remain solely responsible for any clinical decision you take and for compliance with the professional rules applicable to you.

3. Conclusion of Contract

3.1 The presentation of Materials on our site does not constitute a binding offer but an invitation to place an order.

3.2 To place an order you must create a user account and sign in. You then select the Materials you wish to purchase and proceed to the checkout page.

3.3 On the checkout page you can review your order and correct input errors at any time before submitting it, using the correction and deletion functions provided and your browser's back function. Before submitting, you must confirm that you have taken note of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3.4 By clicking the order button, which is labelled "Buy now", you submit a binding offer to purchase the Materials in your order.

3.5 We confirm receipt of your order by email without undue delay. This confirmation of receipt does not itself constitute acceptance. The contract is concluded when we send you a separate order confirmation or when we grant you access to the Materials, whichever occurs first.

3.6 The contract text is stored by us and sent to you by email together with these Terms. After conclusion of the contract, these Terms are also available at any time on our website. The contract may be concluded in English.

4. Prices and Value Added Tax

4.1 The prices stated at the time of order apply.

4.2 Prices shown to consumers include the applicable statutory VAT. For sales to purchasers within the EU, VAT is charged at the rate of your country of residence, which is why your country must be provided at checkout. For purchasers outside the EU, no German VAT is included. The applicable rate and amount are shown on your invoice.

4.3 No delivery costs arise, as the Materials are supplied digitally. Any charges levied by your own bank or payment provider are borne by you.

5. Payment

5.1 Payment is made by credit card via Stripe or via PayPal. Payment is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.

5.2 Payment processing is carried out by the respective payment service provider under its own terms. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

6. Access to the Materials

6.1 We grant you access to the purchased Materials without undue delay after successful payment, subject to clause 8.

6.2 The duration of access is stated on the relevant course page and during checkout. Where lifetime access is offered, this means access for as long as we operate the platform in question; we will give you reasonable advance notice if we intend to discontinue it.

6.3 Access is personal to you. You may not share your account credentials or allow any other person to use your access.

7. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with the following instruction. If you are an entrepreneur, no statutory right of withdrawal applies.

Withdrawal Instruction

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us —

BeautyMasters GmbH
Maximilianstrasse 36, 80539 Munich, Germany
Telephone: +49 89 55293446
Email: [email protected]

— by means of a clear statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

Your right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if we have begun performance of the contract after you have expressly consented to our beginning performance before the end of the withdrawal period, you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and we have provided you with confirmation of your consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium.

8. Licence and Permitted Use

8.1 Upon full payment we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Materials for your own professional and educational purposes for the duration of your access.

8.2 You may view the Materials online and, where a download function is offered, download and print them for your own use.

8.3 You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly communicate, make available, sell, rent, lend, sublicense or otherwise exploit the Materials or any part of them, nor make them accessible to third parties. You may not remove or alter copyright or other proprietary notices.

8.4 Clause 8.3 does not restrict your statutory rights, including the right to quote from the Materials to the extent permitted by law and the right to express your own opinion about the Materials, including in public reviews.

8.5 In the event of a material breach of clause 8.3 we may block your access after issuing a prior warning, unless the breach is so serious that a warning is unreasonable for us. Your statutory rights and our further claims remain unaffected.

9. Intellectual Property

The Materials, the platform and all associated trademarks and other protected signs are owned by us or our licensors. No rights are granted beyond those expressly set out in clause 8.

10. Conformity and Warranty

10.1 We owe you Materials that are free of product and legal defects in accordance with the statutory provisions, in particular §§327 ff. BGB for contracts on digital products concluded with consumers.

10.2 Where we are obliged to provide updates under §327f BGB, we will inform you of them and make them available.

10.3 Statutory limitation periods apply. For entrepreneurs, the limitation period for claims based on defects is one year from the transfer of risk, save where longer statutory periods are mandatory or clause 11 provides otherwise.

10.4 We may modify the Materials beyond what is necessary to maintain conformity only under the conditions of §327r BGB, in particular where there is a valid reason, the modification causes you no additional cost, and you are informed clearly and in good time. Where such a modification more than insignificantly impairs your access to or use of the Materials, you may terminate the contract free of charge within 30 days in accordance with §327r(3) BGB.

11. Liability

11.1 We are liable without limitation:

  • for damage arising from injury to life, body or health caused by a negligent or intentional breach of duty by us, our legal representatives or vicarious agents;
  • for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence;
  • for damage covered by a guarantee expressly given by us;
  • to the extent that liability is mandatory under the Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).

11.2 In cases of slightly negligent breach of a material contractual obligation, we are liable limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. A material contractual obligation is one the fulfilment of which makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on the observance of which you may regularly rely.

11.3 Any further liability is excluded.

11.4 Clauses 11.1 to 11.3 apply accordingly to the personal liability of our employees, representatives and vicarious agents.

12. External Links

Our site may contain links to external websites over whose content we have no control. We are not responsible for the content of linked external sites. Liability under §§7 to 10 DDG remains unaffected.

13. Amendments to these Terms

13.1 We may amend these Terms with effect for future contracts at any time.

13.2 For an existing contract, we will notify you of any proposed amendment in text form at least six weeks before the proposed date on which it takes effect. You may object to the amendment before that date. If you do not object, the amendment is deemed accepted; we will draw your attention to this consequence and to your right to object in the notification. If you object, we may terminate the contract with effect from the proposed date of the amendment and will refund any part of the price relating to the remaining access period.

14. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

14.1 The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

14.2 If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.

14.3 If you are a merchant, a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Munich. We are also entitled to sue at your general place of jurisdiction.

15. Consumer Dispute Resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle).
